After a 40-year-old from the Linz-Land district caused a traffic accident with property damage with her car in Traun on Friday at the Friedhofstraße/Weinheberstraße intersection, the driver committed a hit-and-run, hitting a traffic sign and a marker post. The car was severely damaged.
A civil patrol found vehicle parts at the scene of the accident, from which the make, type and year of manufacture of the car emerged and the owner could be traced. When the police checked the woman’s home, they found the damaged car, but the woman did not open the door. She could be contacted through her sons. A correct alcohol mat test was not possible, whereupon the police officers took the woman’s driver’s license. Although there is a ban on weapons, two sports bows and various arrows were found on the back seat of the car. The 40-year-old is shown several times.
