An 18-year-old from the district of Amstetten/Lower Austria drove his car at around 7:10 a.m. today on the B3 in the municipal area of Saxen in the direction of Grein. After a 70 zone in the Wetzelsdorf area, Saxen municipality, a car came towards him on his side of the road after a slight left turn. He was just overtaking a black car. In order to prevent a head-on collision, the 18-year-old braked hard, swerved to the right and touched a guard rail with the entire right side of the vehicle. The overtaking driver just kept driving. The 18-year-old drove his car to the next siding, noticed enormous damage and called the police at around 7:15 a.m. The other car is believed to be a gray Audi.
