The only regional television station for the entire Mühlviertel has a new look. Within a week, the old studio was cleared out and redesigned. Of course, local companies were used, true to the motto: “100% Mühlviertel – it’s what’s on the inside.” Planned by Groiss Wohnkultur, wallpapered by Hörbst Raumgestaltung and decorated by Blumen Lanik, the studio shines in new splendour. Talks can also be held there in the future.
The design is modern and yet very natural and down-to-earth. TV is the mirror image of the region and time speaks for the station, as people appreciate their homeland more and shop regionally since the crises. Seeing what’s happening in front of the front door is well received and is also a unique selling point of Mühlviertel.TV. Reception via cable TV, A1TV and satellite (channel TV1 Upper Austria, daily at 8am, 1pm, 6pm and 11pm; information at: www.muehlviertel.tv).
Positive things from home
With the canal, the positive clearly dominates. No negative headlines from all over the world, but also no tragic accidents, fires or family tragedies from the region. “We are committed to the positive, and anyone who tunes in to Mühlviertel.TV can also let their children watch.” says the managing director and mother of two, Elisabeth Keplinger-Radler, who herself knows what it’s like when children see tragic pictures on other channels: “At home we only watch Mühlviertel.TV (or on satellite: TV1 OÖ) because you can run this station with a clear conscience.”
