Rolling angels have already fulfilled 111 last wishes

The association “Rolling Angels”, which fulfills the last wishes of people with serious illnesses, had its 111th mission this week. “It was a very moving dream trip for the team, because we were able to take a 28-year-old woman with terminal cancer to her favorite place on Lake Faaker See and go on a boat trip there with her and her family,” says club founder Florian Aichhorn .

The idea came about in March 2019 when Aichhorn shared a table in a restaurant with a family with a seriously ill 10-year-old son. At that time, Aichhorn fulfilled his greatest wish: to be able to drive in a rally car one day.

Since March 2020, around 22 voluntary wish-fulfillers, who come from the rescue service or medical hospital sector, have been working throughout Austria to fulfill last wishes free of charge. The association is financed by donations and sponsorships. More information at www.rollede-engel.at
