In the event of traffic congestion, further driving bans are to be imposed. Speed limits have been in effect on a number of roads since the beginning of May and until the beginning of June, according to Veldener Tourismus GmbH.
Villach is also preparing for the coming weeks. Here, the authorities are paying attention to the Dobratsch nature park, which is really “no place for hooligans”, as the city put it in a press release: At certain times, the parking lots are closed and access to the Bergstraße is prohibited in the evening hours. “Increased controls and close monitoring by the executive” are also taken care of.
