Audi traditionally leads the way when it comes to design, concepts and technologies for the future. One of these concept vehicles that the Ingolstadt company is currently creating is called Urbansphere. 5.51 meters long, two meters wide and 1.80 meters high, the E model is powered by two electric motors with an output of 295 kW (401 hp) and 690 Nm. The battery module stores 120 kWh and is operated with charging-friendly 800 volt technology. Designed for the megacities in China, the Urbansphere drives autonomously. The passengers should come to rest in the spacious car and relax away from everyday stress, says an Audi spokeswoman in the OÖN interview. The Urbansphere is a retreat from the noisy city. Access is facilitated by the lack of a B-pillar, inside invite four electrically adjustable individual seats to linger. Audi did not reveal whether and when the concept car will be built.
