A seven-day incidence of 289.9 was calculated for our state: lower than the Austrian average of 344.6.
The seven-day incidence was lowest on Sunday in the Gmunden district at 196, and highest in the Urfahr-Umwelt district at 366. 468 new infections were counted in Upper Austria yesterday. On Sunday a week ago it had been 584. There were a total of 6197 confirmed cases of corona infection this Sunday, 7613 Upper Austrians were in quarantine.
75 people were treated in a normal ward, eight needed intensive care treatment. For comparison: exactly a month ago there were 215 patients in normal wards and 17 intensive care patients. As reported, all restrictions on entry into Austria have been lifted since midnight today.
