“It’s a good sign that 73 of our 78 places are currently occupied,” said Mayor Norbert Weber (VP) in praise of the good reputation and the care concept in the Frankenburg old people’s and nursing home. Despite the necessary precautionary measures, everyday life in the home is becoming a lot more pleasant, as the mayor and head of department Elfriede Hollnbuchner found out during her local inspection on International Nursing Day.
“The stress was great, but thanks to the really good cooperation in the nursing service and in the whole house, we mastered it well,” notes nursing manager Manuela Dax. Your staff has held up well to the demands. New employees are needed due to maternity leave, retirement and to fulfill the staff ratio. “It’s a meaningful and fulfilling job,” says Dax. Above all, she wants to motivate young people to take up one of the nursing professions. “But those returning and switching are also welcome,” says Dax on International Nursing Day.
