State prize for young Mostviertler

State prizes are the highest awards of the republic. The 25-year-old Theresa Mühlberghuber from St. Valentin, graduate of the master’s degree in “Digital Business Management” at the FH campus Steyr and the JKU, received this exclusive award as one of the few winners from Minister Leonore Gewessler. With her master’s thesis on the subject of sustainable mobility in rural areas, she convinced the jury for the “State Prize for Mobility 2021”. Mühlberghuber’s scientific work on “Mobility as a Service” was awarded in the “Future Mobility Award” category. She is one of only four award winners.

“Mobility as a Service (MaaS) means the integration of and access to various mobility services in a digital mobility offer,” says the young woman from Mostviertler, “a rural MaaS system can increase access to mobility, create new offers and improve efficiency improve mobility overall.”

Theresa Mühlberghuber has been working as an e-commerce project manager at the green earth company since May 2022.
