Change to Bayern? That says ÖFB team striker Kalajdzic

On the last day of the German Bundesliga, ÖFB legionnaire Sasa Kalajdzic made a dramatic rescue with VfB Stuttgart. Only a goal by Wataru Endo in stoppage time secured the Swabians direct relegation. Kalajdzic did not overdo the celebrations after staying up in the league, said the Viennese, who is said to have been in bed at 3:30 a.m. “In the stadium I was in survival mode after the final whistle, empty, dead tired. I wanted to fall over. The fans gave me the fourth breath,” says Kalajdzic in the Krone.

However, the 2-1 win over Cologne on the last matchday could have been Kalajdzic’s last game for VfB Stuttgart. The former Admiran’s contract expires at the end of the coming season. Recently, there has been repeated speculation about the interest of top European clubs in the ÖFB team player: In addition to top German clubs Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, French champions Paris Saint Germain are also said to be interested in the 24-year-old. “In the next few days I will be in talks with Stuttgart and my advisor Sascha Empacher. The hot days are coming, and not just because of the weather,” says Kalajdzic. However, he cannot yet report a permanent move to Bayern: “There is nothing concrete on the table from Bayern or others.”
