The Tyrolean family company Rowa/Moser has set up a new location in Allhaming, right next to the motorway exit in the immediate vicinity of the mail distribution center: six million euros have been invested in the building in Allhaming, which is around 4000 square meters in size. After ten months of construction, the opening took place yesterday, Friday.
Rowa/Moser, headquartered in Innsbruck, has been around for more than 37 years: the company, headed by owner Stefan Moser, is a wholesaler specializing in cable routing, lighting, electric heating, double and cavity floors and floor coverings. “But we’re not just a dealer, we advise our customers, plan and install too,” says Alexander Pali, who is responsible for marketing and human resources. We have more than 10,000 items in stock.
Rowa/Moser was previously located in Leonding – albeit at a much smaller location. This one was abandoned. There are now four locations in Austria: In addition to the headquarters in Innsbruck, there are Klagenfurt, Guntramsdorf and Allhaming: “Allhaming is our largest warehouse, from here we supply not only Austria but also southern Germany,” says Pali.
The large warehouse also helps to keep delivery times short. A total of 80 employees are employed, 16 currently in Upper Austria. More are being sought. Regarding sales, the company is cautious: EUR 30 million is the target for this year’s financial year (as of June 30). According to the company register, the last available turnover was 19 million euros in 2019. The equity ratio is 72 percent.
Solutions for industrial companies
Upper Austria is also an interesting location for the wholesaler due to the large number of industrial companies: “We offer many solutions for industry,” says Pali, who cites aluminum cable racks as an example: These are needed for cable routing. They are manufactured in-house and, according to Pali, are significantly lighter than comparable steel cable trays. Rowa/Moser products are also used in gastronomy, the hotel industry and in private households.
