In the afternoon, the first cumulus clouds can also make themselves felt, starting from the mountains. The risk of showers and thunderstorms will initially remain low here. On the northern edge of the Alps and in the southern Vienna Basin, the Wien can sometimes blow more vigorously from the east to south-west, otherwise it remains weak to moderate. After nine to 16 degrees in the morning, daytime warming to 20 to 30 degrees, warmest in the west.

After early values ​​between eleven and 18 degrees, 17 to 28 degrees are reached. It is warmer again in the southeast and on the eastern edge of the Alps.

But here, too, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase again significantly during the course of the day. Thunderstorms can be particularly strong in the south and south-east. The wind will turn west to northwest and blow moderately, but squalls are likely in thunderstorms. After morning temperatures of ten to 17 degrees, the maximum daily temperatures in rainy zones in the west often only reach around 15 degrees, in the sunnier south-east, however, up to 28 degrees.

However, it remains dry in many regions, only in the mountains are individual, short rain showers possible. In the north and east, however, brisk to strong west to north-west winds will pick up. Altogether predominates on Friday sunny weather, even if some cumulus clouds spread again during the course of the day. Especially in the west, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase a little, otherwise it will mostly remain dry. In the north and east, a sometimes brisk westerly wind will blow again, with morning temperatures of ten to 14 degrees and daily highs of 20 to 26 degrees.
