At lunchtime, the little girl was playing with her two older siblings in a first-floor apartment in the district of Perg. The children climbed onto their parents’ bed, which was placed under a window. At the time, the 27-year-old mother was in the kitchen and the 33-year-old father was in the bathroom.
The two siblings opened the window, the toddler leaned against the insect screen, which was only ajar. The frame fell out of the window frame and the one-and-a-half-year-old girl fell about 3.9 meters onto the asphalt parking lot. With injuries of an undetermined degree, the toddler was taken to the hospital after first aid by the rescue with the emergency doctor helicopter “Christophorus 15”.
