Author Wolf Haas likes to start his crime novels with the sentence “Something has happened again”. The sentence also applies to the Rieder MFG politician Petra Saleh-Agha. In October, the local politician, who ran for the mayoral election in Rieder in 2021 and has been a member of the municipal council since then, made the headlines across Austria with a Facebook post, which OÖN reported. In this she described the hospital staff as criminals, among other things. According to Riederin at the time, every individual in the professional group who took part in the vaccination campaign was a criminal. At the end of April 2022, the MFG politician then entered into an out-of-court settlement with the Upper Austrian Medical Association, which OÖN reported. Saleh-Agha has to pay around 2,000 euros. The money will be donated to charity by the Medical Association.
Now the local politician used a “criminal-sayer” again. On May 20, she posted a video excerpt on her Facebook account with German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach discussing a planned smallpox pandemic simulation. “You can’t think of anything anymore. A new variant is on the way!! All planned by the criminal government!! When will they all be locked away!???, writes Saleh-Agha on her Facebook account. The Facebook post is now making the rounds on social networks such as WhatsApp, including among political representatives of the other parties represented in the Rieder municipal council.
