The absolute high-speed racers in sailing are still on the road until the day after tomorrow, Sunday, in front of the Union Yacht Club Attersee (UYCAs) on the occasion of the Austrian Championships in the International Moth Class. This high-speed category requires absolute physical fitness and the highest level of sailing ability. Even the smallest mistake can mean a serious drop.
The “Motte” is a single-handed dinghy construction class that has existed for more than 90 years, in which almost everything can be changed as long as the specified limit dimensions are not exceeded. Among others, the local heroes Michael Schönleitner and Max Stelzl, who have to assert themselves against national and international competition from Austria, Germany, Slovenia and Denmark, have been named.
