Rieder MFG politician this time described politicians as “criminals”

In October, the local politician, who ran for the 2021 mayoral election in Rieder and has been a member of the municipal council since then, made the headlines across Austria with a Facebook post, which OÖN reported. In this she described the hospital staff as criminals, among other things. According to Riederin at the time, every individual in the professional group who took part in the vaccination campaign was a criminal. At the end of April 2022, the MFG politician then entered into an out-of-court settlement with the Upper Austrian Medical Association, which OÖN reported. Saleh-Agha has to pay around 2,000 euros. The money will be donated to charity by the Medical Association.

Now the local politician used a “criminal-sayer” again. On May 20, she posted a video excerpt on her Facebook account with German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach discussing a planned smallpox pandemic simulation. “You can’t think of anything anymore. A new variant is on the way!! Everything is planned by the criminal government!! When will they all be locked away!???”, writes Saleh-Agha on her Facebook account. The Facebook post is now making the rounds on social networks such as WhatsApp, including among political representatives of the other parties represented in the Rieder municipal council. Yesterday, Friday, the posting was no longer available on the municipal councilor’s Facebook page; it was apparently deleted by her after the online reporting.

Criticism comes from SPÖ Deputy Mayor Peter Stummer. “The lady seems to have a very strange relationship to democracy. There is no other way to explain why she now calls politicians criminals and wants to lock them up,” says Stummer, adding: “It would be much better if Mrs. Saleh-Agha would finally get more involved in local political work in Ried. I still see a lot of room for improvement here. Politically, the MFG faction has not yet been felt in Ried, but the party with Chairwoman Saleh-Agha would have been elected in autumn 2021 .”
