Head rolls at Upper Austrian league Askö Oedt: As the OÖN found out, coach Davorin Kablar has to go in the summer. Club boss Franz Grad also confirms this: “Mr. Kablar has done an excellent job in recent years. In the past few weeks, however, the team has slipped away from him.” And means above all disciplinary problems in the past few weeks – like the 2-2 in Pregarten, when Lukas Paulik and Matej Vulic, two Oedt kickers with yellow and red, had to take a shower.
The performance at the state cup final in St. Martin/M. (2:3) did not please him. “We play a good half and are no longer available in the second half because everyone is complaining. We will now counteract this lack of discipline,” says the club boss.
In the last three games of the season, the 44-year-old Croatian, who has won 18 of the 27 league games so far this season, should field the Oedt team. Degree: “I won’t drop him after that either.”
Even top strikers have to go
There is also a first consequence in the player sector: top striker Manuel Schmidl was suspended according to OÖN information. “It won’t be the only change in the summer,” says Grad. In tomorrow’s home game in the highest league of the federal state against ASK St. Valentin, the nine-time goal scorer will already be dispensed with.
