This number has increased by two since the previous day and has fallen by six patients within a week.
Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 4,246,631 confirmed infections in Austria. 4,191,006 people have had one or more infections, and 3,036 were considered free of the virus within the past 24 hours. As of Saturday, there were fewer than 37,000 active cases nationwide.
3,135 vaccinations were carried out on Friday. Of these, 131 were first bites, 269 were second and 2,735 were third vaccinations. According to the data from the e-vaccination pass, a total of 6,828,185 people in Austria received at least one vaccination. 5.9 million people and thus 65.8 percent of the inhabitants have a valid vaccination.
