Headmistress Ursula Englbrecht-Diesslbacher and her vocational orientation teachers had prepared a handover ceremony for all third and fourth graders. A total of 35 certificates were presented by WKO district office manager Josef Renner and Margit Spitzer as the representative of the economy in Schörfling.
The certificates are not only awarded for the good performance of the students in the vocational orientation lessons, but also for the great commitment of the teachers. “It starts with the work in the classroom, goes to company visits in the region to taster internships for the students and cooperation in the school-business network of the Vöcklabruck district,” says WKO head Renner. “We prepare the young people as well as possible for the world of work, do tests on their personal skills and preferences, get to know the many career opportunities in the area and are always looking for direct contact with the companies,” reports director Ursula Englbrecht-Diesslbacher. When the certificates were handed over, in addition to a small business quiz for the students, Margit Spitzer also gave them a cinema voucher as a small acknowledgment.
