Hernández, 77, also declared that “what is going to happen is going to be terrifying” in the second round because he believes that it will reach 12 million votes, double the 5,953,209 votes he received this Sunday in the first round. of the presidential elections, according to official data from the National Registry.

He also maintained that his first objective is “clean once and for all from the national government the thieves who end up betraying the interests of Colombians. Politicians have been drones.”

For Hernández, “Colombia is a company that has 50 million shareholders; if we don’t remove the bad administrators, those who steal public assets, Colombia fails.”

The independent candidate has recognized that three years ago he supported Gustavo Petro and that the outgoing president, Ivan Duke, seemed “inexperienced and very young”. “And I was not wrong,” he remarked.
