Kim Laura H. and Leonie K. have been missing since May 23: The two girls, who are housed in a care facility in Leonstein, were last seen on Saturday a week ago. Since then, educators and the police have been puzzled over her whereabouts.
Police are asking for information
The police are now asking for the support of the population in their search for the 13-year-old and have published pictures of the young people for this purpose. Anyone who can provide information on the whereabouts of Kim and Leonie should contact the Steyrtal Police Inspectorate on 059133 4125 or any other police station.
Already disappeared several times
It is not the first time that girls from the facility near Grünburg near Steyr (Kirchdorf an der Krems district) are missing. For the third time this year, the police are looking for Leonie K. She was last gone for a few days at the beginning of May 2022 together with eleven-year-old Rania and reappeared unharmed on May 10 – the OÖN reported.
The two girls were also reported missing in mid-April. They were finally picked up in Linz, where they may have stayed at the main train station for a long time. Eleven-year-old Rania was missing for two weeks in February this year. As reported, the police found her in an apartment in Vienna.
