Bio Austria Upper Austria, the association of organic farmers, will file for insolvency for the organic market hall in the next few days. “It’s a pity that we can’t continue working here,” said managing director Lukas Großbichler when asked by OÖN. The ambitious concept did not work for several reasons.
Too little customer frequency, restrictions due to Corona, especially when it comes to events, general inflation and personnel problems ultimately meant that there was no future for the glass house because it “didn’t work to cover costs”. The market hall will be closed in the coming days, six employees (part-time) will be affected.
