More than a year and a half after the market launch in other countries, Google is finally bringing the latest version of its Chromecast streaming stick to Austria. A new feature is a remote control with dedicated buttons for YouTube, Netflix and the Google Assistant. Other devices in the Smart Home can also be controlled via the voice function.
The stick, which can be connected to the television via an HDMI connection, supports 4K and HDR at up to 60 frames per second. Furthermore, HDMI passthrough for Dolby audio content is possible.
The Chromecast with Google TV costs 69.99 euros and can be pre-ordered now in the Google Store. Deliveries will start on June 21st.
