Because of the conspicuous driving style, police officers stopped the car at around 11:30 p.m. at the Haager Straße – Seitenstettnerstraße intersection. A 19-year-old from Steyr was behind the wheel, at first glance there were four other people in the vehicle. When checking the trunk, a police officer noticed movements under a first-aid blanket that had been spread out. A 15-year-old girl was lying under the blanket – unsecured. It stated that it wanted to go home and since the car was already full, it would have taken a ride in the trunk. In addition, the 15-year-old had falsified the date of birth on her ID card in order to make herself look older.
The officials noticed clear signs of impairment in the 19-year-old driver. An alcohol test was negative, and a voluntary urine drug screening test was positive. The young man was taken to the police medical examination, where it was determined that he was impaired by narcotic drugs. The driver’s license was taken from him and he is reported. The 15-year-old must also expect a display.
