Two injured in a fall with an e-bike and a motorcycle

In small cell a 58-year-old from the Rohrbach district rode her e-bike downhill on the Weigelsdorf freight road in the direction of Weigelsdorf and tore the handlebars. The woman rolled over in the direction of travel and her head hit the asphalt. After initial treatment by the Red Cross and the general practitioner emergency service, the 58-year-old was flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz with the “Europa3” rescue helicopter.

In Bad Leonfelden A 48-year-old woman from Linz drove her motorbike on the B126 in Unterlaimbach, coming from the Czech Republic in the direction of Bad Leonfelden. In doing so, she overlooked the fact that the 60-year-old husband riding in front of her had to brake his motorcycle because of cyclists riding in front of him and a car driving behind him, and drove into her husband’s motorcycle despite emergency braking. As a result, both fell and the woman was seriously injured. After receiving first aid from the Red Cross, she was taken to Freistadt Regional Hospital.
