A total of 20,825 rapid PCR and antigen tests have been registered in the past 24 hours. Of these, 18,667 were meaningful PCR tests. The positive rate of the PCR tests was 11.4 percent. This 24-hour value is well above the average of the past week (an average of 2.6 percent of the PCR tests positive).

186 vaccinations were administered on Sunday. According to the data from the e-vaccination card, a total of 6,829,179 people have already received at least one vaccination. 5,791,877 people and thus 64.5 percent of Austrians have valid vaccination protection. Of the 186 vaccinations on Sunday, five were first bites.

The province with the highest seven-day incidence was Vienna with 333.6, followed by Lower Austria, Vorarlberg and Salzburg (250, 200.9 and 197.4 respectively). Then come Burgenland (176.4), Upper Austria (160.8), Tyrol (156.8), Carinthia (125.4) and Styria (120.4).
