Red Bull KTM Factory Racing on Thursday announced the signing of Miller for 2023 and 2024. The contract of current KTM rider Miguel Oliveira, who won in Indonesia in March, expires at the end of the year.
Miller returns to the Upper Austrians after nine years. The 27-year-old Australian lost the 2014 World Championship title in the Moto3 class by just two points to Alex Marquez. As vice world champion, he switched to Honda and the premier class MotoGP, and Miller has been driving for Ducati since 2017.
“Having Jack on our team alongside Brad means we have another asset. Like Brad, Jack is a pure racer,” explained KTM Team Manager Francesco Guidotti. “Jack’s approach and attitude to racing is very similar to ours. He will be a great addition to our mission,” said KTM Motorsport Director Pit Beirer.
