“We want to say goodbye to the summer break in St. Martin with a good performance,” says Pregarten’s coach Samir Gradascevic ahead of today’s Upper Austrian league derby in St. Martin (kick-off 6:45 p.m.). After the last two defeats, the Landescup winner should have a positive result again. The spring round didn’t quite go according to plan for Pregarten with 19 points from 14 games. “I honestly have to admit that I hadn’t imagined it that way. However, we also had a lot of injured players, four of them with cruciate ligament injuries,” says Gradascevic. He will also be back on the coaching bench at SPG Pregarten in the fall.
The Union Perg can be very satisfied with spring. Coach Jürgen Prandstätter’s team quickly secured their place in the league with a winning streak. In the last round there was a 2:0 win over Micheldorf. Today we’re going to the bottom of the table in Bad Schallerbach.
In the Landesliga Ost, after the last-minute point in Naarn, Rohrbach-Berg has his fate in his own hands tomorrow: The Eisschiel-Elf can secure their place in the league with a win in a direct duel against Traun.
