There is a party mood: around a year ago, the freshly renovated Linzerie (former arcade) in downtown Linz was opened – and there will be a big celebration today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday. The program is varied, as is the offer in the Linzerie itself. On both days there is a free lucky ticket with every purchase, and the Life Radio studios can also be explored on a guided tour (Friday from 12.55 p.m., Saturday from 9.55 a.m.). You can register at the Life Radio information stand.
Today, among other things, at 3 p.m. in Le Jardin there is an author reading with Ingeborg Rauchberger, Andie Gabauer and band will get in the mood for the weekend musically from 4.30 p.m. in the Linzerie garden. Then DJ Friedrich Mücke is in action.
Regional delicacies can be discovered tomorrow at the Slow Food Market, which takes place every second week (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), from 12 p.m. “Toni and Loni” will transform the Linzerie Garden into a children’s paradise with cotton candy, a bouncy castle and more.
Stefanie Christina Huber, CEO of Sparkasse Oberösterreich, is delighted “that the Linzerie has been able to establish itself as a meeting point for connoisseurs and shopping enthusiasts in just a few months thanks to its diversity”. As the owner, Sparkasse Oberösterreich invested around 25 million euros in the redesign of the shopping center that opened in 1992.
Fashion chains can be found there as well as owner-managed boutiques, and gastronomic variety should also be offered. Last but not least, the pop-up stores guarantee variety.
