Launched on the market in 2010, the Japanese have revised the successful model three times since then. Now a new ASX generation follows. Mitsubishi now lets you take a look behind the scenes: The new ASX will be equipped with different drives, including a full hybrid and a plug-in hybrid. The entry-level engine is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder with 91 hp, while the 1.3-liter four-cylinder delivers 140 hp. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder is supported by two electric motors that draw energy from a 1.3-kWh battery. The full hybrid delivers 145 hp. The same drive works in the plug-in hybrid model, which, however, houses a 10.5 kWh battery. Power: 160 hp. The compact SUV will celebrate its world premiere in September. Then there are prices.
