The list price was 7.325 million euros, it was sold for 7.1 million euros: The actor Neil Patrick Harris, known in Germany for his role as Barney Stinson in the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”, has moved from his house in the New Yorker Separated neighborhoods of Harlem and moved to the Hamptons. Harris and his husband David Burtka bought the Harlem property in 2013 for $3.6 million. The sandstone townhouse has 743 square meters spread over five floors. There are five bedrooms, six bathrooms and almost four meter high ceilings, among other things.
Professional kitchen and secret door
It is still unclear who bought the property. What is certain is that the owner will be able to enjoy a professional kitchen. David Burtka is not only an actor, but also a professional chef.
In the kitchen there are twelve gas burners, several refrigerators and freezers with different temperatures, an XXL pantry and a wine cooler.
The house also has a bar counter from an old hotel – and a secret door behind which the actor’s office is located. A home cinema with ten seats and a gym for training are also part of the facilities.
The master bedroom has one of three gas fireplaces and a huge walk-in closet – and of course a private patio with a hot tub. Right next to it is a spacious bathroom and a library where residents can relax.
