The pilot and another occupant were no longer in the machine when the alerted Laakirchen and Rahstorf fire brigades arrived and should have survived the aircraft accident with minor injuries, reports Otmar Tischler from the Laakirchen fire brigade.
The fire brigade forces took over the fire protection and safety work and helped to salvage the machine. The drone of the Laakirchen fire brigade was also used to take stock of the situation at the scene of the accident.
Two police patrols, forensics, the police helicopter and the Red Cross were also on duty.
The damage to the small aircraft involved in the accident is likely to be considerable, and the investigation is currently underway. Flight operations have been discontinued.
