Graffiti art now adorns the Dörflberg underpass

The underpass between the train station and Am Pfarrerfeld/Buchleiten in Vöcklabruck was no longer a gem after it had been repeatedly defaced with graffiti. Therefore, Education Councilor Bianca Lindinger invited the Middle School for Sport and Integration, SIMS for short, to create new graffiti. “This gives the children at the school the chance to help beautify their city,” says Lindinger.

The Viennese graffiti artist Michael Heindl was won as an instructor, the students of two 4th grades and participants of the non-binding exercise “Creative” were enthusiastic about the matter. The areas were cleaned by employees of the building yard, primed white, brought to the students and installed in the underpass after the works of art were completed.

The students were particularly pleased that Street Work Vöcklabruck and the YOUX youth center Vöcklabruck provided them with culinary support during their work.
