A delegation from the “Frankenburg dice game” went on a small school tour. In a short, dramatic performance in the parish hall, the 3rd and 4th graders of the Frankenburg elementary school were vividly illustrated what had recently been covered in general knowledge lessons: the saddest chapter in the history of the market town, when rebellious farmers gambled for their lives in 1625 had to.
Those students who were ordered onto the stage by the hangman and his servants to roll the dice got an idea of how terrible such a game of life and death is. Subsequently, the elementary school and the middle school in Vöcklamarkt were also given short performances. Pupils and teachers from all three schools were deeply impressed by the intensity of the performances and were given free tickets for the “real” performances by the dice players.
The dice game community has two summer jobs to offer this summer. Pupils and students who are flexible in terms of time and also interested in technology can register at michael.neudorfer@wuerfelspiel.at apply.
