Dangerous attachments
No demands for money are made, instead malicious programs are often hidden in the attachments of the emails. The police therefore advise:
- Examine letters received carefully
- Don’t give out any personal information
- Do not reply to questionable letters
- Don’t respond to demands
- If you have already become a victim, file a complaint with the nearest police station
