Friday: The sun often shines with loosened cumulus clouds and the risk of showers remains low in most cases. High-reaching cumulus clouds are most likely to develop around the eastern edge of the Alps at midday, individual shower cells are possible there. The wind blows moderately to briskly from west to north in the mountains and in the eastern parts of the country, otherwise it is rather weak. Morning temperatures of eleven to 18 degrees are followed by daily highs of 23 to 29 degrees.
Saturday: The influence of high pressure ensures widespread sunny weather and temperatures rise sharply in some cases, often well above the 30-degree mark in the west. In addition, it remains free of precipitation everywhere. The ground-level wind field is only weakly developed. The early temperatures are nine to 18 degrees, during the day the thermometer shows 26 to 34 degrees, with the peak values in Vorarlberg and North Tyrol.

Heavy thunderstorms are to be expected everywhere until the evening, with a focus on the eastern half of Austria. The wind will be weak to moderate from southeast to west.
