No executive order from Biden, however, could restore the constitutional right to abortion: to do so, a law of the Congress where, however, the Democrats lack numbers.
The Supreme Court is expected to issue a decision in two weeks, before the summer recess, and mass protests are feared.
In early May, it emerged that the US Supreme Court appears poised to vote to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion across the country, according to a leaked initial draft majority opinion published by Politico.
The sentence could come when Joe Biden is in Europe for the G7 and the NATO summit.
