What used to be done in kindergartens with paperwork, notices and calls can now be clarified conveniently via smartphone, says Caritas, referring to the Munderfing kindergarten, which is the first in the Braunau district to offer parents the new Caritas KITAweb parent app . “The app makes organizational things easier for parents and educators, and personal conversations leave more time for what’s important: our children,” says Anna Sattlecker, head of Munderfing’s parish caritas kindergarten.
The KITAweb parent app simplifies the exchange between parents and caregivers in kindergartens, crèches and after-school care centers – and saves time for both sides. “We can write personal or group messages to the parents, create simple polls or participant lists and communicate events in the app’s calendar. We announce when special trips are coming up, or we can send the parents a personal message that, for example, their favorite stuffed animal, the the child needs to fall asleep was forgotten in kindergarten,” says Anna Sattlecker. The kindergarten staff manages the app via computer, the parents have the app with them on their smartphone.
According to Caritas, parents have access to the necessary documents and forms at any time and can make entries around the clock and from any location. The communication meets the highest security standards and is data protection compliant.
