The 38-year-old from the Braunau district was stopped and checked at around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday. Because the police officers noticed clear symptoms of an addiction, the Innviertler was brought before a medical officer. This confirmed the suspicion that the man’s driver’s license was provisionally taken away.
But that’s not all: in the drug dealer’s car, the officers found around 80 grams of marijuana hidden in the spare tire. In the course of the investigation, the man was able to prove that he had bought a good 800 grams of cannabis. In the past few weeks, he had also smuggled around half a kilogram of marijuana from Simbach to Braunau in several trips.
The 38-year-old confessed to the allegations, the police said on Sunday morning. He is reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Ried.
