Vienna advances

The City of Vienna now wants to boost the vaccination process again and, with a view to the increasing wave of infections, advised everyone to complete their basic immunization (three vaccinations) as soon as possible. In addition, access to the fourth booster vaccination has been simplified. All persons over the age of twelve whose third vaccination was six months ago are asked to carry out the fourth vaccination. If someone wants this after four months, it should be made possible in the municipal vaccination centers. In any case, the city advises getting vaccinated according to the deadlines and not waiting for new vaccines. “The most important thing is that you are protected from a severe course and the existing vaccines are very well suited for this,” emphasized a spokesman for City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker (SPÖ).
