“Caution, trap!”, the popular information event of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor together with the OÖ Nachrichten, is stopping off in Ebensee this time. On Monday in a week, July 4th, from 6 p.m. everything in the workers’ home will revolve around the topic of pensions. After a long and often hard working life, employees are allowed to retire. But that sounds easier than it is in reality. Because there are a lot of traps lurking around when you retire.
The most common question that working people ask before they retire: “When can I actually retire at the earliest?”
But questions such as how many years of insurance you need, how high the deductions are or whether you can earn extra money in retirement are always asked. The Chamber of Labor experts Nicole Rauscher, Petra Winter and Martin Gamsjäger will discuss the most important topics and then answer questions from the audience.
Are our pensions really as insecure as some politicians keep telling us? AK President Andreas Stangl will also address this in a talk with OÖN moderators Gerhild Niedoba and Markus Staudinger.
