Thousands of visitors are already eagerly waiting to be admitted: The Woodstock of brass bands, one of the largest music festivals in Austria, is taking place from today, Thursday to Sunday, July 3, at the festival site in Ort and is also celebrating its tenth anniversary. Between the first music act (Seeblech, today 1 p.m.) and the end on Sunday (Innviertler Tanzlmusi, 4 p.m.), there are almost 120 more performances, concerts and complete plays (Saturday, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.). The Woodstock service will be celebrated together on Sunday at 10 a.m. on the grounds. Music will be played on a total of six stages, and 123 bands have been announced for the festival. The finale is scheduled for Sunday from 7 p.m. with DeSchoWieda, folkshilfe and LaBrassBanda on the main stage.
The project “Kapelle Like Mir” celebrates its premiere, which was put together by a Facebook vote and will be played for the first time on Friday, July 1, from 1:30 p.m. Information and tickets: www.woodstockderblasmusik.at
