Omer Tarabic changes from Gurten to Vöcklamarkt

From 2016 Omer Tarabic was deputy sporting director at Union Gurten. Gurten and the 38-year-old are now going their separate ways before the start of the new regional league season.

Tarabic, who grew up in Pram and has lived in Mehrnbach for several years, is now moving to Gurten’s league rivals Vöcklamarkt, where he has signed a contract as the new sporting director. “I want to continue the path my predecessor Klaus Preiner took here. The squad is largely in place. In close coordination with my predecessor and the coaching team, we will still make one or two transfers in order to play a good role in the coming regional league season to be able to,” says Tarabic, who works as an editor at Tips.

“A big challenge”

“I am very happy that I get this opportunity as a sports director in Vöcklamarkt. It is a great challenge that I will approach with respect and motivation,” says Tarabic in the OÖN interview. As a footballer, the 38-year-old played for SV Pram for many years.
