“I couldn’t be prouder and happier,” writes Nadine Mirada on Instagram. A big dream has come true for the curvy model from Linz – a deal with the underwear and bikini label Victoria’s Secret. The current photos of the woman from Linz in bikini fashion appeared on the company’s Italian and French Instagram accounts. The 33-year-old is wearing a white bikini on one, and a black swimsuit on the other.

In addition to Carinthian Nadine Leopold, Mirada is now the second Austrian to be allowed to model for the US brand. She is following in big footsteps: Star models such as Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr have walked the catwalk as angels for Victoria’s Secret.

“Focus on your strengths”
As a curvy model, Nadine Mirada has long been in demand internationally, among other things she has already worked for the fashion brand Guess. Two years ago, the woman from Linz was a guest at the OÖN Women’s Day in the Linz Promenade Galleries and discussed beauty ideals online. “Every woman has something special. You shouldn’t always compare yourself to others, but concentrate on your strengths and individual goals,” is her credo. Her self-confidence was shaped early on. “My mom always gave me courage and is an extremely attractive woman herself. To be honest, I’m also very happy that there was no social media when I was a teenager and that the pressure wasn’t that great in general. To be honest, I don’t know whether I would have been as mature and stable for the job when I was 20 as I am today,” said the 33-year-old.
