Musk posted a picture of himself with the Pope on Twitter. “It was an honor to meet the pontiff yesterday,” Musk tweeted. The Vatican had not reported on the meeting, which according to indiscretions lasted about an hour.
According to Italian media, Musk is said to have spoken extensively with the Pope about innovations in technology. Another common theme was the problem of declining birth rates, especially in western countries, which is of particular concern to the Holy Father.
Just before posting a picture with the Pope, Musk posted a photo of himself and a young woman in Venice. Both wear a mask. Venice is a “place of great memories,” Musk tweeted.
