As reported, two women (18 and 20 years old) are said to have been sexually harassed by a group of men on Keplerplatz. Two men are said to have followed the women to an acquaintance’s apartment, with one of the men allegedly following them into the apartment.
After extensive investigations with the support of the task force to combat street crime (EGS), the investigators from the Vienna State Criminal Police Office managed to track down the two suspects, a 17-year-old and a 22-year-old Moroccan national.
The 22-year-old has already been questioned and did not confess, the police said in a broadcast on Saturday. He was released on suspicion of sexual assault and attempted trespassing. The 17-year-old main suspect is still being sought. The investigations into the remaining men in the group are still ongoing.
