“Water march” was the (almost) last time in the fire brigade competition season in the district of Rohrbach. Because the district competition was held at the sports facility in Helfenberg. But this year the competition season in the Rohrbach district is being extended. After all, the state competition also takes place in the district – on July 8th and 9th in St. Peter am Wimberg.

For many fire departments, the district competition traditionally serves as the last rehearsal before the upcoming state fire service performance competition. Thus, times of superlatives can be admired again and again at this performance show, including the parallel start of the top groups.
And Rohrbach’s top groups didn’t disappoint, even if one or two mistakes crept in – they’re always fast. In bronze, the lads from Hinterschiffl slammed a fire attack time of 29.98 seconds on the pitch – flawlessly. The season run time of 50.79 is also impressive. The men from St. Martin were more than a second faster in the relay race. In the extinguishing attack, however, they were clearly defeated with 33.62 and five penalty points. Julbach took third place.
Ten “hot” each
In silver, the error devil finally struck in the top groups as well. Hinterschiffl and St. Martin each received ten “hot” ones. Both groups ran a 34-time and were about the same speed in the relay race. But Hinterschiffl also got this rating by a hair’s breadth. The group from Kirchberg/D took third place.
In the youth category, St. Martin took first and third place in bronze. In between, the youngsters from Niederkappel ran in second place. The St. Martin boys also secured silver in the district league, ahead of Niederwaldkirchen and Niederkappel.
Schiffler won the district ranking
At the final event, the district winners of the respective class were awarded. This includes all competitions of the season. Hinterschiffl won in the district league of the active. Niederkappel won first class and St. Martin im Mühlkreis fourth in second class.
The youth district league title went to St. Martin 1. In the 1st class to Altenfelden 1 and in the 2nd class to Plöcking 1.
Incidentally, the trophies for the winners were designed by the employees of FAB Haslach. FAB is a non-profit association that creates the conditions for successful and lasting professional integration for people looking for work through qualification, employment, advice and support.
