One dead after a major fire in the Innviertel

A neighbor noticed the fire just before 3 a.m. A large contingent of ten fire brigades were on site to extinguish the fire. The forces found a dead person in the building, it is likely to be the owner of the house.

The operation turned out to be difficult, since a 1.2 kilometer extinguishing line had to be laid due to the isolation of the house. “The post-extinguishing work is currently still in full swing. A total of 120 emergency services were on site,” says Hermann Straßhofer, commander of the FF Feldkirchen, when asked by OÖN.
