A 68-year-old woman died on Saturday after being attacked by a shark and losing a leg and arm while swimming off the Red Sea coast at an Egyptian resort.
A video posted on social media shows the tourists in despair at the time of the attack. “Where are the rescuers? She’s covered in blood. The shark tore her arm off,” a man at the scene said. “She has no one to help,” another witness said.
according to Mirror, tourists quickly got out of the water and tried to “distract the shark.” The victim, an Austrian citizen, died in the ambulance.
In Hurghada, Egypt, a shark attacked an Austrian tourist and bit off her arm and leg. The woman died from her injuries.
