The NATO summit, which concludes this Thursday in Madrid, has generated a lot of talk, and not only because of the resolution adopted by the countries of the Alliance: the lunch menu, served in the cafeteria for journalists, cost 20.35. euro, and he had a dish that caused controversy: a Russian salad.

So far so good, but the organization itself seems to have noticed the “oversight” and decided on this Thursday, the last day of the NATO summit and on the very day when the countries of the Alliance identified Russia as the greatest threat, to change the name of the dish. In the new lunch menu, “Russian salad” appeared with the designation “traditional salad”. On the other days of the summit, he always appeared as “Russian salad”.

Even in English, the description has changed from “Russian-style potato salad” to “traditional salad.” What hasn’t changed is the eight euros that the aforementioned salad costs journalists covering the NATO summit.

The change did not go unnoticed by many of the area’s journalists and social media users, who humorously commented on the “traditional salad” incident.
